1. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY.
We collect various types of personal data on our Websites. The personal data that we collect may fall under the following categories:

• Voluntary

3. LEGAL BASIS WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA.
If you are a visitor from the European Economic Area, our legal basis for collecting and using the personal data described above will depend on the personal data and the specific purpose it was collected.

However, we will normally collect personal data from you only when (1) we have your consent to do so; (2) we need the personal data to perform a contract with you; or (3) where the processing is in our legitimate interests and not overridden by your data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.

5. TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EU/EEA.
Oregon Tool will transfer and process your personal data outside your country of residence. For example, we may use web hosting providers or cloud computing service providers who store or access your personal data outside the EU/EEA. In some cases, these countries may be located outside the European Union/European Economic Area (EU/EEA) and may have data protection laws that are different than the laws of your country of residence.

Where this is the case, we make sure that your personal data is transferred to third countries outside the EU/EEA that are deemed “adequate” by the European Commission (a list of adequate countries is available here). Alternatively, where your personal data is not sent to a country that provides adequate protection, we will put in place appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal data remains protected while it is being processed outside the EU/EEA in accordance with applicable privacy laws. These appropriate safeguards may include signing the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses with the group entity, third party service provider outside the EU/EEA with whom we share your personal data. 6. HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We retain personal data we collect for as long as necessary to enable us to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Notice and where we have an ongoing legitimate business interest to do so (e.g., provide a service that you have requested).

Once the purpose for processing your personal data no longer exists, or the period of retention has expired, or if you ask us to delete your personal data, we may continue to store your personal data for a limited period of time, if necessary, to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements.
